Prepare to be Wooed

Welcome to Woo's, a wonderful new, worldly place where you'll find some of the globe's best-designed wares.

Owner Pip Graham (formerly of the beloved Atkinson & Graham florist in St Kilda, Melbourne) has been busy indulging in her love of travel, and has brought back some of the most beautifully made products for Mother, Child and Home (and for yourself) that you just won't find anywhere else (well, unless you head off and follow Pip's rambling itinerary...).

Pip's got a keen eye for style, and practically turned Denmark, Sweden and Argentina upside down to find small, quality-driven designers and producers who appreciate detail and possess a deep understanding of form that results in unique, divine objects that you'll fall in love with.

At Woo's, you'll only find one-off or limited edition pieces, and only exclusively through Woo's in Australia. Think intricate handmade belts and jewels, gorgeous frocks and undergear, innovative and fun children's wear, essential items for the dining table and kitchen, llama wool blankets, fine cotton velour towels and dressing gowns, hand-dipped candles, distinctive hand-blown vases and Woo's own hand-knitted teddies. And that's just for this season.

Once they're gone, they're gone, until Pip decides to head off on another wonderful adventure to find new, beautiful and unique pieces to make you smile. And trust us, Pip plans on doing that a lot.

And if you can't get to Woo's HQ in Armadale, Melbourne, Pip is happy to take orders over the phone and online to ensure you don't miss out. Let's face it, like any normal human being, once you get wooed, there's really no turning back…

What in the Woo? The story behind the name.

The image of little Woo was snapped by renown British photographer Cecil Beaton. Not only did Beaton photograph icons from the worlds of fashion, literature, music and film (such as the Rolling Stones, Salvador Dali Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe) he also captured this adorable girl sitting atop her beloved dog Hamlet. And that little girl is Pip's mum, nicknamed Woo. Pip's mum has provided much inspiration for the store, which extends to stocking Woo's own hand-made teddies - the type that Woo would have played with when she was little.
